Climber gaff straps may serve a simple purpose, but they have a crucial role in keeping your spikes tight to your feet. Typically, replacement straps are made from leather, like many from Weaver Leather.

There are stronger Neoprene options from Buckingham. Leather tree straps tend to dry out and crack, but nylon ones last longer.
