DMM PORTER GEAR BAG

by DMM
$99.95
SKU BG-45PRTR
These heavy duty bags are made to carry gear over long distances while protecting and organizing the gear at the same time. The blow molded back panel and backpack straps are super comfortable. The removable lid and drawstring closure help keep your gear dry while the daisy chain outside webbing helps keep needed gear out in the open.

My first real “Gear bag”

Love this bag.
Easily fits my harness, spikes and rope and helmet.
Vented bottom keeps mold away.
Pretty waterproof got down poured on hard and didn’t leak.

Great gear bag overall

I have had my 70 liter bag for about a year now and it has held up very well. The only place on the bag that are starting to wear out are the shoulder straps. Over time and with a very heavy load the stitching has started to tear out, but that is an observation not a complaint. If anyone knows where I could get replacement strap please let me know, otherwise my DMM gear bag will last for years to come

Simple and well built

I ordered both sizes. The 45 liter can barely accommodate a full set of climbing gear, including the spurs. Im currently using it without packing the spurs. Its not impossible to fit the spurs in just a little hassle. Im currently using a 148ft petz flow rope, petlz sequoia saddle, pretzl zigzag, one steel core 12ft flipline, one normal 2 in 1 flipline, a silky zumbat and a throwline cube that all fit in the 45 liter. I carry the spurs on one hand and my chainsaw on the other, its been my preferred method. On the other hand the 75 liter is perfect for storing everything including the spurs and a pulley, maybe an extra cube and other goodies. Just a little to big for my everday setup.
