Excellent

As someone pretty new to technical tree climbing this book has been very helpful to me. It is well and clearly written and organized, and has excellent illustrations. It explains the what and why of many foundational methods of using knots for tree work very well.

For a more general overview of working with trees, which includes some of the same knot info found in "Knots at Work,"I recommend "The Tree Cimber's Companion" by the same author.

Haven't even finished the book yet and I've learned a ton! I like how the author describes why a certain knot works and other might not for one certain scenario. The illustrations also help to show what the author talks about to paint a clear picture.
