The concept is great...and for me...still a better solution than daisy-chaining. However, I have two issues with my Petzl Sequoia SRT and 1/2" dia 16' Samson Bluestreak lanyard: 1. The K1 keeper doesn't really fit well on the Sequoia because of the sewn loops Petzl puts on the side of the harness...they kinda "block" the triangle extender piece from snapping into position easily on top of the keeper. Thus the triangle piece routinely detaches itself as I'm moving around in the tree. 2. 1/2" ropes (12.7mm) seem too thick...the way it passes through the triangle extender piece...the bend radius of the ropes makes them almost touch each other as they bend down to go around the bottom "pulley." So it adds drag when paying it out, as well as when trying to grab and detach to "extend" it out and level your loops. I think both 1&2 also work against each other making it worse. Perhaps a different harness and/or a smaller diameter rope (like a TriTech 11mm) would make both issues go away. I dunno. I'm trying the Notch Sidekick with my setup to see if its better...cause like I said...the concept is great.
